Toro Muerto

An inconvenient place to visit, this gem is a 3 hour bus ride from Arequipa, but in my opinion well worth it. You get on a taxi in the town of La Candelaria, then walk around volcanic stones strewn randomly around the desert which are covered in petroglyphs! I spent nearly 3 hours looking for one stone that I'd seen a picture of because it was the strongest support of an alien visit as I'd ever seen, and alas, after about 2.5 hours I found it!
