Without doubt one of the strangest places I've visited. The National Security Agency (NSA) built this spy base in West Berlin during the Cold War. It was a great tactical site since they could spy on much of East Germany from the top of this hill. However, since the Berlin wall fell, it was abandoned and fell into disrepair. Now it is essentially a junk heap full of graffiti. This is, obviously, a stark contrast to the top secret government work which was once conducted here. I was there during the day, which was just weird, but if I were here at night I am certain that I'd be convinced of an imminent zombie apocalypse.
